Çok Darlandık Buralarda!

We're getting really fed up here!

Hello dear friends, addicts!

We have something to tell you. Because we're getting really fed up here...

Here's what happened: When the May tea plants covered the fields with their bright green sprouts, we felt a sense of relief and happiness. This season's tea was of very high quality. We harvested a lot and prepared our green tea for you. It turned out wonderful. You won't be able to get enough of it. But then other things happened. Due to the cold weather, the tea plants in some villages withered in the fields. When I say withered, I mean they shrunk a bit, turned yellow, and the yellowed ones disappeared, and new ones came in their place, but there weren't many, dear tea drinkers. Tea yields across the country decreased by 20% compared to last year. As you know, the tea we produce is barely enough for Türkiye's needs.

Wait, it's not over, other things happened too. You know, Çaykur determines the purchase price of fresh tea. This year, they announced the price a little late. But before Çaykur announced the price, private factories hired someone and set a price of 2 TL per kilo for the tea in the fields. Then Çaykur set the price at 2.16 TL. The real chaos started after that. For the first time in their history, private factories bought tea at 2.2 TL, above Çaykur's base price. We all said, "Were we going to see this too?" We are also fresh tea producers. It was good for us. Our tea became more valuable. Our labor in the fields was rewarded. But… there was also a price increase for tea, dear tea drinkers. And a big increase at that!

We at Lazika never compromise on quality. You already know that. We did it that way, and we always will. But unfortunately, the price of the tea we offer you has inevitably increased. We only use May tea. We get high-quality tea from high-altitude villages. Then we treat it with the utmost care, making it ready to drink. We work differently from everyone else. This is our innovation, what we bring to the country. But you haven't forgotten, have you? Good tea isn't cheap. It's impossible. That's why we hope you'll understand the price increase. Besides, you know, we're emotional people; when asked if we prefer money or love, we say love. Let's say it again. Let's continue to grow our love for each passing day.

We will have better days ahead. Don't leave Lazika alone. Stay well, and keep your affection going, our dearest fellow addicts…

With affection,

Lazika
