Which of Our Teas Can Be Brewed Cold?

Although tea quenches thirst, many people say "I want something cold" in this heat, so we say "let's serve you cold tea." During these summer days (even though the environment is air-conditioned), we sat down and worked on which of our teas could be brewed cold. By brewing a different cold tea every day, we achieved the results we will share with you below. Since the weather isn't breezy, you can also benefit from these cold tea ideas! (For those who may not know, and for those who do, we have a cafe called 'Cafe Lazika' on the 4th floor of the Turkish Culinary Museum in 42 Maslak Shopping Mall in Maslak. It's a cafe where everything is freshly made every day, and you can taste and buy the desserts and teas that go well with your tea and coffee. It's a quiet place, perfect for sitting, working, or meeting with friends…)

Green tea

We brewed plain green tea with ice for 3-4 hours. The result was a very clear tea. You can brew it at home like this: put 3-4 servings of green tea in a bowl and add two or three times the amount of ice. Once all the ice has melted, strain the tea. When you drink green tea cold, a naturally sweet aroma emerges. This tastes quite different from green tea when drunk hot. You may not need to add extra sweetener, but if you do, honey might be a good option.

Emotional Harvest ' Sekine '

We brewed the tea bags hot, let them cool, and served them with ice. We put 3-4 tea bags in a large teapot, brewed them hot, and then let them cool. Apple tea has a slightly sweet effect. Adding any fruit you like is also a great idea. Sekine is delicious both hot and cold.

Emotional Blend 'Canfeza'

Brew it, add ice, and enjoy! We used to recommend it to those who wanted a sweet herbal tea when it was hot, but since sweet flavors go so well with iced teas, Canfeza naturally became an iced tea. Its sweet taste comes from the stevia and strawberry & chocolate flavored blend. Its color comes from hibiscus. There's also green tea as a bonus. You'll love its color as much as its taste!

Emotional Blend ' Strawberry Dream '

Its pomegranate blossom red color and strawberry aroma make it stand out among other teas. The sweetness of the strawberry and rooibos tea pairs beautifully with iced tea. We brewed it in a large teapot with 3 tea bags. Although it's quite strong, adding ice dilutes the flavor. You won't need any extra sweetener or fruit.

Relax ' Mint Lemon '

We brewed it hot and then let it cool. Adding fresh mint and a lemon slice when serving will give it a sharper, more refreshing, and invigorating taste. Another great option, if you're comfortable with refined sugar, is to fill the rim of the glass with sugar before adding ice.

Pomegranate Tea

If you're craving fresh pomegranate juice, our pomegranate tea becomes the perfect cold-brewed pomegranate juice! Because it contains real pomegranate seeds and hibiscus tea. Empty the pomegranate tea bag into a large bowl and fill it to the brim with ice. Once all the ice has melted, strain it through a fine sieve. The color and taste are amazing! A whole bottle is enough to keep in the refrigerator and serve to guests!
