Collagen-rich Green Tea from the Super Teas
Today is Collagen-Enriched Green Tea day…
As soon as I opened the pyramid-shaped bag, orange peels caught my eye. They were bright white and very interesting. Alongside them were collagen added to lavender, hibiscus, and green tea… I didn't used to know much about collagen. I'd heard the name and mentally label it as "something like doping." But it turns out the truth is quite different.
What is collagen?
Collagen is actually one of the most fundamental proteins in our body. It's found in our skin, hair, joints, and even connective tissues. Normally, it consists of particles too large to digest, but once processed into peptides, the body can use it very easily. And that's exactly what we at Lazika have done: we've added collagen to green tea using a method we developed. Each tea bag contains 237 mg of collagen. Essentially, we're drinking protein in our tea; sounds interesting, doesn't it?
So, how else could collagen be known?
- • It supports skin, hair and nails.
- • It is good for joint and bowel health.
- • It also contains selenium, which supports the immune system.
Infusion
We place the pyramid-shaped tea bag in water that's not boiling, around 85 degrees Celsius, and wait for 4 minutes. Then, the tea meets the cup... By the way, what do they do with tea in your region? Do they put it in, pour it out, or leave it? Our expressions travel from region to region, changing and transforming. But let's continue. :)
Taste and Smell
Collagen-enriched green tea takes on a dreamy pink color in the cup. This pink hue comes from hibiscus and rosehip.
It doesn't have that cardboard-like green tea taste we're used to, because it's beautifully blended. The slightly tart taste that lingers in our mouths comes from hibiscus, and the scent that comes with a deep breath is from lavender... The sourness is sweetly balanced by rosehip. I was surprised to learn during my research that rosehip contains vitamin B12. Of course, this isn't a supplement, but it's still a nice addition.
Feeling
That's how it is; our tea is both enjoyable and beneficial. It's like you're not just drinking tea, you're giving yourself a little break, a beautiful experience from the inside out.
I smiled slightly as I took my first sip; not only did the tea taste good, but the feeling it evoked in my mind was quite pleasant. It was as if I were doing myself a small but precious favor.
Warning: This tea, which contains approximately 18 mg of caffeine per cup, is not vegan. Information for those interested :)
Sincerely,
Rana
